Level 0 – Field Instrumentation Layer
This layer represents all physical devices installed in the plant. These instruments are directly wired to Level-1 I/O modules.
Includes:
Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level Transmitters
Control Valves and Solenoids
Limit Switches and Proximity Sensors
Relays, Starters and Motors
Other analog (4–20 mA) and digital field devices
Purpose:
Collect raw process signals and pass them to SAKSHAM or SIEMENS I/O racks.
LEVEL-1 — I/O Processing and Interface Layer

This layer converts physical signals into usable industrial communication data.

This is the highest layer where logic, visualization, and supervision occur.
